      <image:caption>A highly repetitive activity, cycling requires optimal positioning of the hip, knee and ankle to reduce discomfort and improve efficiency. An orthopedic examination is designed to determine and individuals mobility and movement while the cycling posture evaluates the role of foot/pedal interface, saddle height, saddle positioning, stem length/rise and handlebar width. Sessions are roughly 90 minutes in length and involve altering positions on the rider's own bike.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>My name is Ian Pirie. I had completed my Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2011. Since this period of time I have been working as a Physical Therapist in Vancouver. My undergraduate studies in Biology and youth athletic background fostered my interest in the physiology of rehabilitation, exercise, human performance, health and well being. Interests which fascinate me to this day, driving my clinical interests. Outside of my clinical hours I consult with Canada Snowboard’s Para Snowboard team, for which I had served as a therapist during the 2018 Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang and the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing.</image:caption>
